Completion rule
A certificate is issued when every required section is viewed in full (video threshold: 90% watched) and the post-test is passed at 80% or higher. Learners may retake the post-test as many times as needed to reach the passing threshold.
Accessibility
We target WCAG 2.2 AA. Every video is keyboard-operable, captions are provided where available, and quizzes use accessible form controls with screen-reader announcements on errors. Please report issues to LaurenNMeyer@arizona.edu.
Privacy & data
We store only what's necessary to issue your certificate: your name, email, affiliated school, section progress, quiz attempts, and completion timestamp. We do not use third-party analytics. Certificate files are served through authenticated routes and are not publicly indexed. Because the module handles education-record-like data, we follow FERPA-aligned handling practices for service providers.
State review
Arizona law (A.R.S. 15-120) requires suicide awareness and prevention training for certain school personnel. This module is built to support state review against Arizona Department of Education guidance. Review status will be published here once confirmed.
